Zome, a real estate company from Braga, on Thursday carried out the first sale of a cryptocurrency property in Europe, without the need to convert into euros prior to the act, it was announced today.

“The first conversion of a digital asset into a physical asset – a home – without any conversion into euros, in Europe, was carried out in Apartment T3, in Braga,” Zome confirms in a statement. The client paid about 3 bitcoins – worth about 110,000 euros.

“This act marks a historic milestone, which is the transfer of digital assets into a physical asset – a home – without any conversion into euros,” which strengthens the real estate company.

“We know that the future of brokerage will pass through crypto assets, so we believe this transaction will start a whole new world of business potential,” Carlos Santos, chief technology officer at Zome, says in the statement.
