Tanya remembers the day she told her father that she loves women

Tanya had always had friends until she was 20, but between the ages of 21 and 22, she realized that she wanted to “know another side”. At 23, he became interested in another woman and rediscovered his sexuality.

“I dated this girl, and then I was with another boy, because I love people,” the Titi singer said Thursday, 31, in an intimate interview with Manuel Luis Josha.

In response to a question from the announcer about the family’s reaction to his knowledge that he is in a relationship with women, the singer recalled the moments when she told her parents the truth on various occasions.

Tanya’s mother was “a little dumbfounded” at first and asked her not to tell her father because he might not have reacted well, but the artist did so shortly afterwards.

“I told him, I turned my back on him and left in shame,” he recalls, assuming he was afraid of a negative reaction…never.

“However, he called me the next day to talk to me and the only words he said were: First your father loves you and secondly you can love whoever you want,” he says, unable to hide his feelings.

The singer recalls that her father just wanted to know if she was happy and to remind her that he loves her “very much and unconditionally.”

Also in this interview, Tanya recalled with great sadness the day her father died. A loss, he admits, is still learning how to deal with it.
