A BOLA – Stubborn Bastardo’s Fountain in Alvalade (volleyball)

Fonte do Bastardo beat Sporting (3-0), in a match referring to the semi-finals of the National Volleyball Championship, which was held on Saturday evening, at Joao Rocha’s Pavilion in Lisbon, without resumption or aggravation.

After overcoming a slip last Sunday, in front of Benfica, in the Portuguese Cup, the Azzurri team at Alvalade showed that their eyes were focused on the title, and in the first set, they triumphed without a doubt (25-18).

The second half was more poised, and at one point, he leaned completely towards Sporting. The Lions got to point 24 with a two advantage, and they had everything to tie the match, but Fonte de Bastardo’s reaction was excellent and the islanders ended up increasing the score (27-25).

The way they lost the second set was crucial to Sporting… in the third set. Leonine’s logo broke emotionally, a factor the Azores used to close the match (25-22).

In this way, Sporting would have to win at least one of the next two games in the Azores (Friday, 1st, 8pm and Sunday, 3, 4pm), to prevent Fonte do Bastardo from stamping the passport for the final tournament.
