A BOLA – Opening training in Europe with three victims (handball)

On Monday, the national handball team began the preparation stage for the European Championship. The match continues until Thursday in Rio Mayor with the participation of 19 players, and there are three major absences.

Luis Fradi (Barcelona), Pedro Portela (Nantes) and Andre Gomes (Melsojen) are having physical problems and will not be able to contribute to the team at Euro 2022. Among the coaching members are two youngsters – Diogo Marquez, 17-year-old Porto goalkeeper, Vasco Costa, The 16-year-old left-back for FC Gaia – who will be working with the team at Rio Leisure.

Remember that Portugal is in Group B of the 2022 European Championship (Hungary and Slovenia between January 13-30), along with Hungary, Iceland and the Netherlands. After this first stage, which ends on December 30, the team will meet again on January 2, heading to Switzerland where they will participate in the Yellow Cup, between January 7 and 9.
