Pep Guardiola is a coach with very distinctive ideas and playing style, in a career in which he won titles for all the clubs he spent. Still, the Manchester City coach believes that Citizens They manage to excel in other aspects of the game, greatly appreciating possession of the ball, as is typical of the game ideas they implement in the teams they pass through.

“We can’t attack faster, we’re not Liverpool. They’re masters at it, we’re not. We can’t do that, so we have to pass and play with the ball. But patience doesn’t mean slow. If we have the ball, we’re fine and steady. Stability is having the ball. It’s not about defending 40 meters behind or in front of you, pressing high or sending long balls. To be stable as a team you have to have the ball, nothing else”, Guardiola’s shot.
