Premier League, Day 15 – Manchester City face Watford (1-3) and lead

Manchester City did not miss the opportunity. After Chelsea’s defeat in the afternoon, the Citizens had a chance to take the lead in the championship. Thanks for the power-packed win at Watford (1-3). A goal from Raheem Sterling (4th) and a brace from Bernardo Silva (31st and 63rd) allowed Pep Guardiola’s players to win widely. Watford’s excellent second period against Manchester United’s superiority was not enough.

Chelsea and Manchester City did not falter

It all started very quickly, probably too fast for Watford. It only took Manchester City four minutes to score. A lone Raheem Sterling grabbed a centerpiece from Phil Foden, heading in to deceive Daniel Bachmann (1-0, 4th). This is not already the first opportunity for citizens. Aymeric Laporte got a corner from Foton, but his unbroken header was saved by Joao Pedro (3rd) on the line. With 80 percent possession during the break, City completely subdued the Hornets.

Without the Paceman (9th, 21st, 52nd, 59th, 70th) many saves, the score would have been too tough for Claudio Ranieri’s players. Not to mention that Citizens and Jack Graylish in particular have failed. The former villain tried a lot, but always missed the last move. One of his strikes hit the crossbar (67th). Laporte, him, grazed the bar recovered from the left after a corner (60th), and de Bruyne missed the top of the window with nothing at the end of the game (89th).

Shining Bernardo Silva, Rose on the Bay

Faced with relative suffering, Bernardo Silva delighted himself in midfield. At the appearance of the first goal he scored towards Photon, he was responsible for recording the next two. Bachmann (2-0, 31st) thwarted Kundokan’s attempt again, then a brilliant kick from the left injury in the opposite window (3-0, 63rd). To open the way to the goal, he worked very hard and played easily with Danny Rose, who had already written a lax mark in Sterling when the scoring started.

Ranieri’s training has paid off – including Kucho Hernandez’s break – and if his family is allowed to suffer less, it will not be enough to shake up Ederson and Mankun’s defense. The Colombian, who found the post through a cross strike, followed suit and reduced the score (3-1, 74th). He then centered on King, who did not go far from the post (78th). An occasion where the end of the meeting can be animated. Meanwhile, here Manchester City (35 points) are top of the Premier League against Liverpool.
