Interest in EDP leads to shares being traded on the stock exchange. PSI Dawns in the Green – Bag

The surge in opinion polls about EDP in the news has increased investor interest. The Portuguese Electricity Corporation’s share price rose at the start of Monday’s session and made the company up 2.85%.

EDP’s good performance helped paint the Lisbon Stock Exchange in the green. In the first minutes of trading, the PSI-20 index rose 0.86% to 5562.06 points. Of the 19 included in the main Portuguese index, 12 were positive, three decreased, and four remained unchanged.

Aside from EDP, all the “heavyweights” are trading with gains. BCP continues its positive rally – which lasted for several sessions – and was valued at 1.25% on Monday. EDP ​​Renováveis ​​is up 1.17%. Galp Energia, which released its operating results before the start of the session, is up 0.89% and Jerónimo Martins is up 0.36%.

We also appreciate 0.12%. The company led by Miguel Almeida is now covered by Intermoney, with a target price of four euros. At the moment, each share is worth 3.41 euros.

In the opposite direction, the value of Pharol, Mota Engil and Greenvolt decreases.

Thus, the Lisbon Stock Exchange stands next to the gains in the panorama of Europe. Major European markets were trading mixed this morning, with French, Italian and German indexes posting losses. Spanish is on the rise. The Stoxx 600, which brings together the main companies of the old continent, is traded on the waterline.
