Trieste. Moroccan writer Tahar Benjelloun will inaugurate the 10th edition of the upcoming Trieste Scientific Research Festival this year dedicated to the theme “Take care of yourself. Science for sustainable well-being. Three hundred speakers will deliver lectures during this decade of the event, which through nearly eighty meetings, activities and exhibitions will reflect the tools that Science offers it to take care of ourselves, society and the planet we live on.
During the whole weekend, from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 September, the city will be full of initiatives, organized not only in Praça Unita, which will host the Knowledge Village with 50 exhibition spaces, but also in a discussion space that will take place in Praça Verde, in some places in Molo Quarta, in the Rivoltella Museum and in the representative hall of the district. In addition to the Ben Jelloun Kindergarten, the Kindergarten is for guests who can be heard throughout the different days of the festival, and varies in all disciplines. Astronaut Luca Parmitano and experimental physicist will be present, former head of the Italian Space Agency, Roberto Battiston, who will speak on the “New Space Race” (Saturday, 25, 4:30 p.m., at Agora Hall in Molo IV).
