According to rumors, the Chinese brand Honor is about to launch its first foldable device. The Honor Magic Fold is expected to feature a flexible display and a book-shaped build similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but with a rear look and camera combination from the Honor 50 line, which was launched in June.

The leaker @RODENT950 has released images of two different versions of the device: with or without a hole for the front cameras on the external display. Rumors indicate that Honor has not yet decided whether it will bring the screens in a more traditional format with a punch hole, if it will adopt the technology of cameras located below the display or even if it will not bring any modules in this part of the device, as happens in the Mi Mix Fold of Xiaomi. If the device has a front unit, it will be dual, in pill format. Details of the number of megapixels in this group were not disclosed.

The rear unit should have a 108MP main sensor and be arranged in two vertical circles – Honor calls it a “Cartier ring” – with the other cameras grouped at the bottom. Information indicates that the Honor Magic Fold will have an 8-inch internal screen (larger than 7.6 inches than the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and similar to the Huawei Mate X2), a 6.5-inch external screen (compared to the 6.2-inch screen of Samsung’s competitor) and Slices Snapdragon 888 or 888 Plus.

If you inherit more specs from the Honor 50 line, the camera array will still have 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor, but oddly enough to think of a foldable model with such a simple set of sensors, we’d likely have something closer to What was used in the recently introduced Magic 3 line. Also, it can come with 8 or 12 GB of RAMAnd 128 or 256 GB of storage.

Despite all the leaks, the Chinese brand has not confirmed the existence of this device. Honor Magic Fold is expected to be released in the last quarter of this year, with no speculative price yet.
