English police responded to an incident in the north London suburb of Bushey at 19:00 local time on Tuesday evening, where they found three women with serious injuries, who were later pronounced dead at the scene.
Crossbows and possibly other weapons were reportedly used. Police described the attack as a “targeted incident.”
The suspected perpetrator remained at large for more than a day, and the English police mobilized a large force to track him down.
Large numbers of officers were deployed at various locations in north London, as well as in the Bushey area of Hertfordshire, involving armed police officers and specialist search teams.
More than one day in the term
Police in Hertfordshire have now reported that the man has been arrested. He was found in the Enfield area, where the suspect is from.
– He is receiving medical treatment after being found injured. A police district spokesman said no shots were fired by police.
– After extensive investigation, the suspect has been located and no one else is being sought in connection with the investigation at this time, says Senior Constable Justine Jenkins.
Many of them left flowers outside the crime scene.

BBC employee family
The victims were confirmed to be linked to BBC and Sky Sports commentator John Hunt, who is known for his horse racing coverage for the radio.
Both the BBC and Sky have offered their condolences following the killings.
“Our thoughts are with our colleague John Hunt, his family and friends at this difficult time,” he writes. Sky Sports Racing on X.
I heard a scream
One neighbour described the whole thing as “tragic and horrific” to the BBC.
– This is a good neighborhood. Mostly retirees and professionals live here.
Another witness who lives nearby says she heard screaming Tuesday night.
“It literally sounded like children, someone screaming, and then it got louder and louder and I thought ‘it must be a woman screaming,’ and within 15 minutes it was complete chaos,” she says.
