China commends Akuffo-Addo for his “excellent speech” during inauguration

Mr. Wang Zhengwei, the Special Envoy of the Chinese Leader, Zi Jinping, has commended President Akuffo-Addo for his “excellent speech” during the inaugural ceremony and said the speech had left a great impression on him.

He said President Akuffo-Addo’s inaugural speech had given the international community the assurance that he would serve the people and that the ideas in that message were in alignment with the thinking of Chinese Leader Zi.

The Special Envoy said this when he called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo at the Flagstaff House on his first day at work.

Mr. Wang Zhengwei said Akuffo-Addo is a blessing for the Ghanaian people and a blessing for the sub-region.

He believes that under Akuffo-Addo`s leadership Ghana would enjoy a brighter future.

Mr. Wang lauded the cooperation between the two countries, particularly progress made in aviation and energy, and said China looked forward to more communications and bilateral relations on international and regional issues of common concern, especially those concerning people’s livelihood.

He said the Chinese Government had confidence in the development of Ghana and was willing to encourage more Chinese companies to invest in Ghana in order for both nations to achieve win-win results.
